Doors Open Festival Weekend

This year’s Doors Open Festival weekend is your last opportunity to see behind the scenes at Glasgow’s historic Pipe Factory building before it closes for major preservation and refurbishment works this November, launching a new future as a vibrant community arts and cultural centre.

On both Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, join us for a FREE celebration of this stunning historic building, its history, and its plans for the future via an architectural exhibition, on-site guided tours, and an all-ages mini bricks ‘buildathon’.

Between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday 21st, drop-in for FREE textiles-themed arts & crafts activities led by Zeno Fabric and Textiles!

Throughout the weekend we’re also screening local archive footage, including ‘The Green of Glasgow’, sourced and compiled by The Pipe Factory heritage team and the National Moving Image Archive.
